The introduction paragraph is an essential element of any essay. It defines the topic or question your essay will address and explains your viewpoint on it.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons. They offer an added benefit or impact while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from players or vendors looted, or gotten as rewards, or made by crafting materials. In addition to providing bonus attributes Upgrade items also have cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can include inscriptions, enhancements and infusions. They are generally not available for general use and can only be applied to Ascended equipment or other weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions, inscriptions and enrichments can be retrieved from equipment using an Infusion Extraction Device or salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.
In contrast to other upgrade items, Phoenix Boxes can be traded even while still connected to the item they are upgrading. They are able to be used again after they are salvaged. These upgrade items can be used to improve weapon and armor quality without spending Dilithium. They can increase the likelihood that an item will receive a quality upgrade.
Upgrade components can be added to an item but the previous one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Only upgraded items with an identification level of 0 or greater can be upgraded with upgrade components incorporated into them. The addition of an upgrade to an existing weapon equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade will display the name of the upgraded item in the same way as it appears in the game (for example, adding the Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be referred to as Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player is limited to up to three upgrade items at one time.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be a valuable accessory to any item since they provide many unique advantages and boosts. Certain glyphs increase the number of affixes that an item has, increasing its effectiveness. These glyphs can be found through dungeons, and some even be found in specific World Tier 3 areas. It is important to keep in mind that glyphs are only available to characters who have created a root-dungeon of the same depth.
To make use of a Glyph you first have to create it with components and then connect them via anchors. The component will then automatically align with other components or paths within the same layer. If you don't wish to create the glyph from components, you can build it using a combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element close to the component that is highlighted to lock it in the right spot.

Certain glyphs require specific conditions to be met, such as 25 Dexterity in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Some glyphs require a specific number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which can be a challenge to attain. Certain glyphs have a radius that increases with each level.
Glyphs are used for various items, and are added to all weapons, with the exception for the weapons of specific classes. Certain glyphs can be used with additional conditions, such as an amount of damage to Dexterity or Attack damage on a specific area of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph adds an 5% chance to block enemy attacks. It also has an opportunity to make the Hero vulnerable for 2 turns.
Some glyphs may also be applied to limited use tools, like the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. Adding these glyphs will contribute to the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most commonly used glyphs in the game are the attack ones which boost Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed value. These glyphs are particularly useful for classes that employ weapons that are ranged, like Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph makes enemies who hit the Hero vulnerable to damaging effects.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are tokens that are used to roll back one of the results that are rolled when performing an Action. They are discarded when the reroll happens. Reroll tokens are obtained in a variety of ways, such as through raids, dungeons and skirmishes. They can also be bought at the store or purchased from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials because they allow players to reroll the rewards of the final chest.
For items that are at level 1 there are recycling points. When recycle an item, it will add a certain number of points to the upgrade gauge. This number will increase depending on the item's value and rarity. Additionally the upgraded item won't retain its level when rerolled and the cost of recycling an upgraded item increases with the level of the item.
item upgrade may also use reroll tokens in order to make an item rerollable. However it won't restore the item's original stats or level. This is useful for players who wish to reroll an item they aren't happy with, but want to keep it in their collection.
Three different kinds of upgrade coins are available in the game - reroll, randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type has several subtypes. Reroll tokens, for example come in three levels: rare, legendary, and enhanced. Each level requires an item from its respective level to create an item of the same quality.
To use rerolling tokens you must select "Reroll Token" by right-clicking on the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select a type of token. The tokens available include Item Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The use of an Item token will create the creation of a new Item of any type. Using an item token or a Weapon or Misc token will produce an entirely new weapon belonging to the same faction.
There is also a possibility that the item could be upgraded to a different item that has an increased level and the same extra stats. This is likely to happen if the item has been placed in the Non-Droppable Pool or was transferred there as part of an franchise card.
