Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.
The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of a piece equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the item's durability. The system is an excellent choice for those who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto the new gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be added and an initial amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. Likewise, once an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve an exact roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
